About the Course

In this course you will learn everything from animal behavior, restraint, physical exam, vital signs, common ailments in pets, responding to pet injury & trauma, physiological & breed specific concerns, & how to perform CPR on a pet at home. This is a self-paced course with recorded lessons and recommended skills to complete on a live pet in your own time. The average time to complete the course is approximately 6-8 hours. Optionally, you can upload videos of yourself performing the hands-on skills if you would like feedback from the instructor. Students will receive a printable skill checklist to be completed over time. There are lessons, demonstrations, and quizzes on each section. You will have the option to print the lessons for your own notes.
